Mengru Wang is a Los Angeles-based licensed architect focusing on residential, interior design and historical renovation. Her motivation is to design soulful and interesting places which elevate human experience. She has won many world-wide architecture competitions and has projects experience in LA, NYC, Tokyo, China, Jeruselum, Italy and Spain.
Mengru spent most of her time in China before moving to the United States in 2017. She received her Master in Architecture degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She has previously worked for Kengo Kuma, I.M Pei and is currently working at RIOS. Besides her role as an architect, she is also an enthusiastic traveler, street sketcher, plant mama, outdoor adventurer, everyday cook, cat lover, and bathroom singer.
